Where is the LODGE located?

Just past the town of Glacier, Washington, on your way to Mt Baker Ski Area. Our LODGE is in the Snowline community just past mile marker 34 on Mt Baker Highway. About 40 min east of Bellingham
Is the property ski in / skiout?
No. Mt Baker Ski Area is in the national forest, so there are no lodging right at the ski area. There are a couple developments with vacation homes and condos right at the edge of the forestry land. We are about as close as you can get!

How far are you from the ski area?

18 miles from the ski area. With clear roads you can be on the mountain in 25 minutes.

Can I bring my pet?

We previously have allowed pets and problems in the past.... To our responsible, preferably smaller breed dog owners, we will allow your furry friends to accompany you with the signed "responsbility agreement". Don't forget to pickup in the yard afterwards!!

**IF you are allergy sensative - Please do be aware that some guests bring their dogs.

How many cars can we bring?

There is parking at the LODGE for up to 6 cars (2 covered tandem spots). There is no charge for parking. All vehicles must be off-street or are subject to a fine!

YES - we do have a private hot tub for the post-ski "soak"

Yes, we are available for rent over holidays!

What is your occupancy and how are the beds set up?

Our occupancy is 10. We have king and queen beds as well as bunks and futons (see details or tour page).

What else is there to do besides ski/snowboard?

Are there any restaurants around?

Yes, there are 3 great restaurants as well as a grocery store right in town.

Is there anyplace around to go sledding?

There is excellent sledding at Heather Meadows (the upper parking lot for the Ski Area)

Do we need to bring bed linens, towels, utinsels?

We supply all bed linens, bath towels, and the kitchen is fully stocked. If you would like a separate towel for the hot tub, you will need to bring one. Wa State health board does not allow us to have spices or any other staples that can "go bad" in the kitchen.... this is a self-catered home.

Do you have internet access? Do you have cable TV?

Do you have cell phone reception?

No, No, and No. Think of it as a real vacation!! Youre in the woods! We have tons of books and movies at the LODGE along with lots of games and such. Cell phone service ends about midway between Bellingham and Glacier......but there is cell phone reception up at the ski area.
